Basic computer tips

Before you start


Make sure you read this section carefully for proper placement and important instructions on the use and care of your new computer.Do's
  • It is advisable to protect the system from dust by using dust cover, when the system isn't in use.
  • Always use the system with proper electrical grounding.
  • Run scan disk & disk derangement once in month.
  • Install antivirus software and scan all USB for before using it ( Use and antivirus software for scanning virus) Periodic scanning is must.
  • Update the antivirus for scanning new viruses. Free updates are available on the Internet.
  • Keep all the documents & driver ( Invoice, License of Operating System, Warranty Card, Driver CD, and Media )  Safer for Further use.
Don's
  • Don't turnoff the system directly by power ON/OFF switch.
  • Don't move the system when it is ON.
  • Don't connect / remove any peripheral when the system is in ON condition (E.g. Printer / Mouse ).
  • Do not attempt to service the equipment yourself.
  • Don't spill any liquid on the System Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse.
  • Don't delete unknown files in your Hard Disk.
  • Don't use a Mouse without a Mouse Pad.
  • Don't keep the CD/DVD in places where Dust / Humidity, Magnetic and Sunlight are present.
  • Don't Change the BIOS setting without prior knowledge.
  • Don't change the Display properties without prior knowledge.
  • Don't install pirated software as in may contain virus.
